From time to time we all look for answers to varied health issues. MedHelp.org has invited me to establish a community on their website to help create awareness, understanding, and support for women suffering from pelvic organ prolapse. This community will enable women to access information about POP and its symptoms, causes, and treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical.
MedHelp.org is a wonderful source of extensive health information and support. MedHelp is the largest online health community and according to Comscore is the 8th largest health site. Medhelp has over 15 years of accumulated information from physicians and patients spanning hundreds of health conditions. Medhelp also has long standing partnerships with 8 of the top 11 honor-roll medical institutions including Johns Hopkins, the Cleveland Clinic, National Jewish, Partners Health, and Mount Sinai; 9 million people access Medhelp monthly searching for answers to health issues. More info is available at http://www.medhelp.org .
I encourage anyone searching for information or support for any health issue to check out this site. The name of the forum to access pelvic organ prolapse information and support is Urogynecology; the link to this page is http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Urogynecology/show/743. By going to the main forum link, you can access any of the health sources available on Medhelp.
I encourage all women trying to find answers to better understand their choices for treatment of POP to join us on the Urogynecology Forum. You can anonymously post questions or engage in ongoing conversations either publicly or privately with others in many different stages of treatment for POP and connect with our community to share knowledge and experience.
